We've been trying our best to stay busy during these different times. Somehow, May flew by in a blink and we're all hoping that with the warmer summer weather brings a decrease in the cases of coronavirus!
We HAD a birds nest! Until we disturbed it with our deck building :(
On a lovely Saturday in May we Spent the afternoon celebrating Aubrey’s and Evelyn’s birthday. All the girls did some crafting, some playing, and some piñata smashing! We were so happy to finally celebrate boppre’s birthday with others as well as celebrate Evelyn’s seventh birthday. It was also really nice to get together with others in person!
This year’s school year wrapped up after almost 3 months of distance-learning. We all made it but are also hoping to be back in school in person in the fall. Cheers to the end of second grade and the end of preschool!
Even though Patrick and I are working from home we find ourselves with some extra time. To keep our minds and bodies busy I have come up with some pandemic projects. We have been busy creating artwork using wood (and learning how to use a miter saw), redoing our deck floor and privacy wall, building a plant table, creating a piñata from scratch, making a together wherever video, and learning how to cut hair! What should our next pandemic project be?
