June wrap up

 As usual, June flew by. We enjoy lots of time outside in the water, at Fort Snelling State Park, and around the neighborhood. I also decided to finally take the wallpaper and chair rail down from our den and paint those walls. I still need to get new wall decor in that room but I am happy with the change!

Chicago visit

 Amid the coronavirus pandemic we still made our visit to Chicago at the end of June. We were able to stay one extra day since all of us were at home anyway. We had a great time celebrating Karen‘s birthday and playing in the backyard. We were so happy we were able to make the trip and are looking forward to seeing our Chicago fam at the end of July!

Fathers Day 2020

The girls are incredibly grateful to have Patrick as their dad. He is loving, adventurous, and will do whatever he can to make the girls happy. Happy Father's Day to one of the best, we love you Patrick!

Backyard Camping

The girls and Patrick spent the night camping in the backyard as they do every year around this time. Maggie and I enjoy a girls night indoors to ourselves :)

More beach time

It has been a warm spring and summer. With pools being closed due to Covid this year, the girls and I have been cooling off while social distancing at the local beaches. We have been able to check out a number of beaches that we wouldn't otherwise so there's the silver lining.

Nora's first birthday!

Our niece, Nora, turned one year old this week and we were happy to be able to celebrate with a small family BBQ! She is a super calm, mellow baby and we look forward to all there is to come through her next year :) Happy first birthday Nora, we love you to pieces! 💖
