Visiting

Last weekend we enjoyed a visit from Karen, Marcus, William and Benjamin. We rode some rides at the Mall of America, we visited uncle Greg's house for a barbecue and we checked out the animals and had a picnic at Como zoo!

Fieldtrip!

Earlier this month, Emily's preschool class took a fieldtrip to the MN Landscape Arboretum and since I am on leave, I went along as a chaperone. It was a good time and I'm glad I was able to spend some one-on-one time with her!

Mother's Day 2015

Mother's Day was extra special this year with a brand new baby. We spent time celebrating with my mom on Saturday. We toured some garage sales, went out for lunch and ended the day with a trip to the frozen yogurt place!

On Sunday we went to the Minnesota zoo in the morning and had a barbecue with the Harrison's in the afternoon. All in all a very good celebration of the most important people in my life and the reason I am called mom, my kiddos!

A visit from Karen and Benjamin

My sister Karen had her second baby three weeks before Aubrey arrived. Because the new babies are so close in age we weren't able to travel to see them right away. Karen braved the airports in Chicago and Minneapolis with Benjamin in order to visit us and meet Aubrey when the babies were just slightly older. We were so lucky and thankful to have them visit and be able to meet our newest nephew! Uncle Greg also made it over to meet his new niece and nephew!

We are lucky enough to have them plus Marcus and William come up again at the end of the month and we are already looking forward to the next visit!!

One month

Aubrey is one month old! She likes sleeping, eating and late night chats. Her dislikes include baths but that's about it as of now, as she's a pretty chill baby! Lucky mom and dad :)
