As of June 2, Emily is 6 months old. She is the most amazing little girl I could ever have hoped for. I can't believe how quickly these 6 months have gone by. Emily has changed so much: her appearance, personality and abilities are all completely different. Below are some pictures showing how much she's changed! At her 6 month checkup she was 27 5/8" and 17 lbs. 10 oz. Still on the high end for length (97%) and hanging in there at the 75-80th% for weight.

Emily...birth through 6 months old |
Even though it is not officially summer for a few weeks, it sure
feels like it. Friday is the last day of this school year - no more pencils, no more
books, no more
student's dirty looks. I am looking forward to it just
as much as everyone else even with my 3 month hiatus this year
We had a great memorial day. We celebrated with friends and family barbeques. The weather was a little wacky but we still managed to get out and about! Patrick and I also went to see The Avengers. We both thought it was fun and would highly recommend it if you're looking for a fun summer action movie.

She is now sitting like a pro! |

Emily's first taste of ICEE at the MN Zoo : ) |
We now add zucchini to the list of food Emily has tried. She was a little weary at first but ended up to like it. She is also sitting like a pro even though she still isn't interested in rolling over. There is also a definite "dada" coming from Emily's mouth even though it is not attached to any one person yet. Soon I'm sure!
Next time I write it will be as a teacher on summer break! Woot!! 4 days and counting : )
More to come,
The Harrisons
