Da Fair

We made our yearly journey to the great MN get-together early on a Sunday morning like always.  We wanted to make sure we made our usual time (around 8:00) because it was forecasted to get into the mid 90s that day.  We lucked out though because it stayed cloudy for most of the morning and there was even a bit of a breeze.  We left just as the clouds were breaking and temperatures were on the rise...fast!

We enjoyed the food (as always), the barns and the kidway.  I'm not a fan of carnival rides but walk a two year old past them and good luck not taking them on a few.

We had another successful year beating the crowds and the heat!

Breezy weekend

In mid August this year we made it up to Breezy Point Resort with our friends Stefanie and Josh and their kids for the weekend!

We enjoyed the beach, the pool with a fun slide, mini golf and trying to find our way out of a giant maze (that stays pretty hot without air being able to circulate through it!).

We had a great weekend and are hoping to make it a yearly tradition!

End of summer

We have been enjoying the last few weeks of summer with:

Play dates with friends

And family!

And enjoying our mommy/daughter time together around town!

We also took a weekend trip to Breezy Point (separate blog to come!)

I had an amazing summer with Emily and will miss our time together but am excited to begin my 11th year as a teacher in St. Paul!
