Fall time favorite

For the third year in a row we've visited Minnetonka Orchards with our friends Stefanie and Josh and their two kids. We always seem to hit the hottest fall day and this year was no exception. It was still fun to see them, get the girls together and spend the day roaming around in the beautiful weather!  It's especially fun to see the girls grow on the apple growth chart every year!

As usual we went on a train ride (this year Emily wanted to ride the airplane version!), scaled the mountain of hay, got faces painted and played in the toy train and big slide!

It's one of my fall favorites and glad we are continuing the tradition. This weekend it's supposed to be in the low 80s and sunny...beautiful summer weather but I am looking forward to crisp fall air. Maybe next week!

Gymnastics

This fall we started gymnastics again.  Emily really likes it and two of her friends from preschool are in her class as well. We're also lucky enough to regular spectators at class, thanks to Auntie Katie for the photos!

And then there were four

Patrick and I are excited to announce that we're expecting baby 2 in April 2015!! We're looking forward to finding out how Emily deals with sharing her things and the spotlight! I am also looking forward to only working until the end of March :)

We also recently ditched the diapers and have a reliably potty trained preschooler on our hands so we will have about 6 months before we need to start changing them again. Glad we won't have to be changing diapers on two butts!!
