Goodbye 2019

December wrapped up and we're looking forward to a new decade. It's almost unbelievable that's it's 2020, but here we are. The 2010s were good to us and who knows what the 20s will hold. All I know is this will be the decade of the teenage driver in our house and that alone makes me a little nervous. However, I am equally excited for what this next decade will bring.

Cheers to you and yours!

New Decade!

Happy New Year, new decade! We rang in the new year at Jeremy's house with the girls who both made it to midnight! To bring in the new decade, Emily and I tried a new experience in snowboarding on the first. It was a lot of fun to be learners together but I think I will stick to skiing :)

Cheers to a new decade and more new experiences!

We also visited Crayola during the day for their New Years Eve celebration!

Christmas time!

Our Christmas celebrations were the same this year as they are every year. We spend Christmas Eve at the Harrisons with gift exchanges, a delicious lasagna dinner, and a game of "bingo".

On Christmas morning we find out what Santa brought us at home and in our stockings as well as exchange gifts with each other. After that, we head to the Mulforts for more gift exchanges and brunch.

As always, we had a great time at all of the events and are a little bummed to see the holiday pass so quickly.

Christmas Prep

We have some traditions leading up to the big day that we all look forward to:

Decorating the tree and the house

Visting Santa

and Decorating cookies

This year we added a visit to our local community center for an arts day which included graham cracker house making and a trip to Bentleyville in Duluth to take in the lights.

We also have a pretty great display in Bloomington that sets their lights to Christmas music!

We are fully in the Christmas spirit after all of this :)
