January Wrap-Up

We had a great month! We had lots of outdoor time as well as indoor time swimming at GG's pool, celebrating birthdays, and spending time with family and friends.

Aubrey is also getting ready to wrap up preschool and begin kindergarten! We went to her open house  recently and she is super excited to make this next move!

Snowtubing and Ice Skating

We are trying to make the best of winter by enjoying outdoor activities when it's not too bitterly cold out. We had a fun afternoon Snowtubing with the Nolbys and on another nice afternoon went ice skating at Centennial Lakes. Emily was extra excited to be ice skating on the lake that we paddle boat on in the summer :)

Fun winter break activities

During one of our days on break we spent the day at a new place called Playseum. It was a cute place with many different role playing areas for kids, an art center, a bring station, and 2 science bars. The girls had a great time playing different roles and participating in activities at the different stations. Good thing Grandma Val came with because at lunch she surprised us with the Mile High ice cream cake! It was pretty amazing, too bad we couldn't finish it. We also won one round of trivia under the team name Ice Cream is Life. Check out the picture and you'll see where the team name came from :)

We also spent a day swimming and staying warm at GGs place. It was baby Nora's first swim and she seemed to enjoy it as well.
