Orchard

We had another successful trip to the Minnetonka Orchards with the Nolbys. This was our 7th year going as a group and, minus the lunchtime rain, it was the perfect day for it. So fun to have these traditions to look forward to throughout the year!

Girls weekend

I was able to get out of town with some friends from work to celebrate some of their fall birthdays. I had never been to Alexandria but we had a great time! I am looking forward to returning some time.

Parade time!

Emily was in her first parade on the hottest fall day that I can remember! Bloomington has heritage days in September and her school participates in the parade so Emily (and Patrick) joined along to toss candy to the crowds!

After the parade we cooled off at home with the slip and slide and headed over to MOA for some fun in the AC.

O.A.R.

Patrick surprised me with a super fun date night to Mystic Lake Casino to see one of my favorite bands, O.A.R.! Bonus was Matt Nathanson as the opening act. Thanks for always thinking about me and keeping things fun, Patrick! 😘

Back to school

It's September so it's back to school for all of us after a fabulous summer! Emily is starting first grade, Aubrey is still in preschool and I'm starting year 15 of teaching 😬

Summer Wrap Up

Well, here it is. Summer has come to an end. I am not ready for work, but here it comes. We celebrated our last week with a trip to the zoo, the State Fair, the Works museum, the beach with friends and the Taylor Swift concert!

Aubrey also wrapped up a great summer session of soccer!
