February Wrap Up

February also brought us a meet and greet with Belinda Jensen at the Bloomington Bookfest, a fun night with Uncle Greg, a school dance, and the end of gymnastics (for now). Here's to March and the beginning of spring!

Snow play

We have enjoyed the snow this month with sledding trips and snow fort building. Fortunately, dad is great at building snow forts. Unfortunately, the snow forts did not last long as we experienced some warmer than normal weather this month.

In the northern suburbs there is a family of three brothers who have been creating larger than life snow sculptures for nine years. Every year I say that we should get up there to check it out and this year we finally made it to check out there newest sculpture, a whale. It was pretty incredible!

Hi Ya!

Watch out for this one...she's moving along in her belt progression and learning new skills by the handful. She'll start sparring with others soon, too!

Valentine's Day

My birthday!

This year we celebrated my birthday at home and at the bowing alley. We were even lucky enough to have Jeremy along for the bowling celebrations since our birthdays are only 5 days apart. It was a great way to begin the end of my 30s!
